Lincoln County also got a great performance from Hayden Hild as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and not a single walk).
At the plate, Russell Gibson was a standout: he scored a run while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Drew Huff, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Lincoln County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Briarwood Academy only posted a batting average of .056.
