In what's become a running theme this season, the Village Christian Crusaders gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Heritage Christian 77-44 at home. The win was just what Village Christian needed coming off of a 91-50 loss in their prior game.
Alanna Neale was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. She also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sandrina Panaligan, who scored 16 points.
Village Christian's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Heritage Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Village Christian will take on Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Heritage Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grant at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grant's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so Heritage Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
