The Woodland Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a  tough 56-36 defeat at the hands of Gridley. Woodland was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  40-18.
 Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Sage  Owens, who  scored 10 points along with 6  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Margherita  Marzo , who  scored 7 points.
 Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gridley,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Woodland will head out on the road to face off against Gridley at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Gridley, they will play host again and welcome Woodland, where tip off is scheduled for 1:00  p.m.
