After losing to the Roseville Tigers the last time they met, the Fairfield Falcons decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Fairfield secured a 37-33 W over Roseville on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Fairfield.
ZaRaya Porter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Mayana Williams , who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Roseville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Fairfield will face off against Benicia at 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024. As for Roseville, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Bella Vista at 7:00 p.m. Bella Vista is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
