Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oxnard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mikayla Oliver, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Oliver pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Lumas, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals.
Oxnard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Dos Pueblos, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
Oxnard will be playing at home against Ventura at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Ventura is ranked 45th, while Oxnard is ranked 49th). As for Dos Pueblos, they will head out on the road to square off against Buena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
