Mangum  took care of business in their home opener  (and then some) on Tuesday. They never let the Cordell Blue Devils get on the board and left with  a   14-0  victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
 Paelyn Clark was a  major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Clark was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Aubrey Lowe was  excellent,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in September of 2024.  Hallie Smith was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Mangum was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .562. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .318 or higher in four consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
 Mangum didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  an  8-3  defeat against Cyril on the 12th. As for Cordell, they will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Thomas-Fay-Custer at 6:00  p.m.  on  the 26th.
