Southern Lab enjoyed a cozy 57-38 win over White Castle on Thursday. Given Southern Lab's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while White Castle is ranked 234th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Southern Lab got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Charles Leblanc out in front who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Leblanc has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cameron Hardnett, who scored 12 points.
Southern Lab's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for White Castle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
