When it comes to explaining why Banneker lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jeremiah Shelton. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Shelton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Justin Cave was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Friendship Collegiate Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-11. As for Banneker, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
