Washington, DC High School Basketball - Friendship Collegiate Academy nips Banneker
January 26, 2024: Washington, DC 20019 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC) and the visiting Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC), saw Friendship Collegiate Academy's basketball squad hold off Banneker by a tally of 59-58.
With the victory, Friendship Collegiate Academy improves its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Knights host Paul Public Charter International (Washington, DC) to play the Pirates in a PCSAA AA challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Paul Public Charter International lost 68-54 in their recent league challenge against Parkside (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Dunbar Crimson Tide (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA challenge, on Monday, January 29. Banneker will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record.
