Locust Grove put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Hampton Hornets 15-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.
AJ Davis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
