 Meanwhile, Elite was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They were  outmatched by Marin Academy and fell  64-7. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 1165th, while the Wildcats are ranked 497th).
 Redwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Elite, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
 Everything came up roses for Redwood Christian against Elite when the teams last played  back in December of 2023, as the  team secured  a  73-3 win. Does  Redwood Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Elite turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
