Audenried is 3-0 against Northeast since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Audenried will look to defend their home court against the Northeast Vikings at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Audenried's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests.
Audenried pushed their score all the way to 58 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 63-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Mary's.
Despite their loss, Audenried saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Aniyah Howard, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Senaya Parker, who scored 13 points along with five assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, Northeast scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 50-23 win over Mastery Charter Hardy Williams. Northeast has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 25 points or more this season.
Audenried's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Northeast, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
Everything came up roses for Audenried against Northeast when the teams last played back in February of 2021 as the squad secured a 64-22 win. Does Audenried have another victory up their sleeve, or will Northeast turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
