After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tamaqua, the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils were happy to have found some success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 43-16 win over Weatherly on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Shenandoah Valley also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2021.
Shenandoah Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Weatherly, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Shenandoah Valley will head out on the road to face off against Nativity BVM at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weatherly, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mahanoy Area at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Mahanoy Area is ranked 275th, while Weatherly is ranked 271st).
