Volleyball Recap: St. Andrew's Wins Going Away Against Coastal Homeschool

St. Andrew won the last time they faced Coastal HomeSchool and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions blew past the Hurricanes 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

While St. Andrew's won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-7, 26-24.

Ryan McGee paced St. Andrew's offense, picking up ten kills. McGee got some help from Grace Dare and her 18 assists. Dare also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Makenna Riley, racking up seven apiece.

St. Andrew's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

St. Andrew's will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Long County at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
