Analy is 9-1 against Healdsburg since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers will be taking part in a tournament against the Greyhounds at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
It was a proper cat-fight when Analy duked it out with Santa Rosa on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 13-2 victory. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.
Brantz Jacobs looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Donnie Rinkor was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Analy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Emerson Johnston, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one run.
Analy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santa Rosa only managed nine.
Meanwhile, Healdsburg waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 20-2 margin over the Prospectors.
Noah Wong tossed a big game, not allowing a single hit and allowing only one earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits in 12 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Healdsburg got a massive performance out of Mason Radelfinger, who went 2-for-5 with three runs and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Radelfinger a new career-high. Frank Rea was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with four runs and one RBI.
Healdsburg's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Analy, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Analy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .327. However, it's not like Healdsburg struggles in that department as they've averaged .319. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Analy was able to grind out a solid win over Healdsburg when the teams last played back in April, winning 8-3. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Greyhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
