After having lost a blowout in their previous game against DuQuoin, Sparta was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Frankfort Redbirds 5-3. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 15-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.
