In what's become a running theme this season, the Cornerstone Christian Cougars gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They blew past Holy Names 76-5 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Cornerstone Christian who now have seven in a row.
Cornerstone Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mecca Alexander out in front who scored 24 points along with six assists and two blocks. Alexander is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last five games she's played. Kaylie Bertand was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five steals.
Cornerstone Christian is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Holy Names, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
