The Workman Lobos suffered their biggest defeat since December 11, 2023 on Wednesday. They were dealt a 64-25 defeat at the hands of Nogales. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Workman in their matchups with Nogales: they've now lost three in a row.
Nogales' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shady Robles, who scored 18 points. Jordin Glass was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Workman has been struggling recently, as they've lost 14 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. As for Nogales, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.
Workman will head out on the road to face off against St. Lucy's at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Lucy's comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Nogales, they will play host again and welcome Duarte, where tip off is scheduled for 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
