The team relied heavily on Joey Hood, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs. WISH Academy is 12-1 when Hood posts two or more runs, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Danilo Granados, who got three hits.
WISH Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
