The Frazier Commodores will be playing at home against the California Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. California took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Frazier, who comes in off a win.
Frazier can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They took down Carmichaels 46-30. The win was just what Frazier needed coming off of a 63-26 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frazier to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allie Yauch, who scored 18 points along with five assists and five steals. Yauch is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Malana Burton was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, California's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They received a tough blow as they fell 62-47 to Charleroi. California has not had much luck with Charleroi recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Frazier's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for California, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Frazier was able to grind out a solid win over California in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 47-34. Will Frazier repeat their success, or does California have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
