Dario Davila and Rey Figueroa were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Davila pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Figueroa pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Coachella Valley is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 7-8 otherwise. At the plate, Davila got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI, while Figueroa got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave Figueroa a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Daniel Ceja, who went 2-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. He has become a key player for Coachella Valley: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Angel Diaz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Indio came out on top against Twentynine Palms on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Rajahs took their matchup against the Wildcats 6-2. The victory continues a trend for the Rajahs in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.
Jose Rodriguez made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Jesse Arreola was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Ricky Cordova was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Indio's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Coachella Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
