The Liberty Patriots waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Stockdale 59-25 at home. With Liberty ahead 33-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Priscila Salazar, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarleen Kaur, who scored six points.
Liberty has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Stockdale, they bumped their record down to 2-13 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will take on Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Centennial focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Wednesday. As for Stockdale, they will be playing at home against Frontier at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Frontier is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.7 points per game.
