Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chowchilla). They claimed a resounding 56-11 victory over the Avenal Buccaneers. With the Tribe ahead 41-2 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Chowchilla's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Avenal, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chowchilla and Washington Union will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Chowchilla is facing Washington Union at the right time seeing as Washington Union is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Avenal, they will be playing at home against Alpaugh at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alpaugh has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
