Archbold dropped down to 20-5 on Saturday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Blue Streaks couldn't push the score so high this time.
As for Perrysburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games.
