Baseball Recap: Bear River Extends Winning Streak to Three

It's playoff time, and Bear River had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Buckingham Charter Knights 1-0 on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Bruins as they're now sitting on three straight.

Bear River saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Nicholls, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases Nicholls has posted since back in March.

Bear River's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Buckingham Charter, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 12-6 record.

Coming up, Bear River will be playing at home against Hilmar at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Buckingham Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
