Desert Christian has gone  a perfect 8-0 against Valley Torah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Knights will square off against the Wolfpack at 1:00  p.m. Desert Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  game than the last.
Desert Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They were the clear victors by  a  16-5 margin over Faith Baptist on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the  season.
 Andrew Silva made a splash no matter where he played. He  tossed five innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits. Silva was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. That  home run was  his first of the season.

 In other batting news, Desert Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Seth Zeko, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Those  five  RBI gave  Zeko a new career-high.  Logan Mount was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Desert Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .636. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, Valley Torah was not able to break out of their rough patch  back in March as the team picked up their 17th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They lost  13-0 to Faith Baptist. That's two games in a row now that the Wolfpack have lost by  exactly 13  runs.
 Valley Torah's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Desert Christian, their record is now 5-6-2.
