Troy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They breezed by the Sayre Redskins to the tune of 75-20. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-14.

Troy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alyssa Parks, who went 8 for 14 on her way to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. Parks is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Kailyn Sterling was another key player, going 7 of 11 en route to 14 points and three steals.

Troy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Sayre still got an impressive performance from Rylee Lantz, who went 6 for 7 on her way to 12 points and seven boards. Those 12 points gave Lantz a new career-high.

Troy pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for Sayre, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Troy is taking a road trip to face off against Williamson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Troy is facing Williamson at the right time seeing as Williamson is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Sayre, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mansfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sayre will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Mansfield will have lost four straight heading into Thursday's matchup.
