The Riverdale Cowboys's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 47-29 bruising from McLane.
Riverdale's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Valeria Olguin, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloey Lloyd, who scored seven points.
Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for McLane, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Riverdale will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Tranquillity at 1:00 p.m. on January 5th. Tranquillity comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last 11 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. McLane won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Minarets at 3:00 p.m. on January 5th.
