It was a good run, but Twiggs County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wilkinson County Warriors, falling 14-2. If the Cobras were looking for revenge after losing 0-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Twiggs County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Harden, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Twiggs County's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Wilkinson County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7-1.

While Twiggs County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
