Cj Johnson Goes Supernova in Springwood Victory
Starting off the list is Springwood's Cj Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson rushed for 423 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 17.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.
If the past is any indication, Johnson could be in store for another big game when he takes on North River Christian on Friday. Johnson rushed for 156 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries the last time he and the Chargers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Sam Wallace's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Sam Wallace posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He wasn't messing around, rushing for 230 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry, and also throwing for 125 yards and a touchdown. The contest was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.
The defeat snapped Macon-East Montgomery Academy's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-1 record. Wallace and Macon-East Montgomery Academy will welcome Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Caleb Cole Leads Southern Prep Academy over Meadowview Christian
On Friday, Southern Prep Academy got the W thanks in part to Caleb Cole playing the best football he has all season. Cole picked up 179 receiving yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 receiving yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Meadowview Christian, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Cole. Cole picked up 263 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in November of 2023.

Zeke Adams and Co. Win Tenth in a Row
Cornerstone Christian picked up their tenth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Zeke Adams. Evangel Christian Academy had no answer to Adams as he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 137 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. Adams' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards.
Cornerstone Christian pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Adams and Cornerstone Christian are on the road again on Friday to play Macon-East Montgomery Academy at 7:00 p.m.

Markevean Johnson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Evangel Christian Academy over Cornerstone Christian
Rounding off our Top Five is Markevean Johnson of Evangel Christian Academy. Johnson made ten total tackles and defended two passes.
This is the second loss in a row for Evangel Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-4. Johnson and Evangel Christian Academy will play host again on Friday to welcome Lakeside School, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.
