The Rialto Knights came tearing into Thursday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by Victor Valley on the road to the tune of 62-6. With Rialto ahead 41-2 at the half, the match was all but over already.
It was another big night for Carrington Davis, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was her 14th in a row with at least ten points. Destiny Rabino was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Rialto's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Victor Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Rialto will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Eisenhower is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Victor Valley is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Academy for Academic Excellence at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Academy for Academic Excellence has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
