Compton Early College scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 17-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centennial Apaches. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Apaches this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 last Tuesday.

Compton Early College is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Centennial, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Compton Early College and Centennial will both be playing Dominguez the next time they take the field. Centennial will head out to face Dominguez at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Compton Early College will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
