The Lompoc Braves had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 47-36 win over Templeton on Friday. For Lompoc, this counts as revenge for the 48-36 defeat Templeton walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lompoc to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tara Terrones, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabelle Morales, who scored ten points.
Lompoc's victory bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Templeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.
Lompoc does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Templeton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tulare Union at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tulare Union is coming into the matchup with four straight defeats on the road, meaning Templeton will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
