Cam Johnson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Corvian Community picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cam Johnson. Johnson was excellent, rushing for 148 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 42 receiving yards. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.9). His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Corvian Community pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Johnson and Corvian Community will square off against Community School of Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Corvian Community picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to AJ Jackson Jr.. Jackson Jr. did his part (and then some), rushing for 56 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 197 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes for the 'W'.
On the year, Jackson Jr. has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 107.4 passing yards per game.

A Season-Best Effort from Alex Waterfield Leads Bishop Mcguinness over Pine Lake Prep
Bishop McGuinness was led to victory by Alex Waterfield, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Waterfield threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns while completing 74.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 58 yards.

Johntay Gaither Delivers Electric Effort Vs Bishop Mcguinness
Pine Lake Prep was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Johntay Gaither did his best to prevent it. Bishop McGuinness had no answer to Gaither as he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. Gaither also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
This season, Gaither has averaged 31.1 receiving yards per game.

Oliver Morris and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Oliver Morris was instrumental in extending Community School of Davidson's winning streak to four on Friday. Morris was dynamite, picking up 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Community School of Davidson's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
On the year, Morris has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 46.6 receiving yards per game.
