North Carolina High School Football - Corvian Community tops Carver

October 11, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28269

The Corvian Community Cardinals football squad scored 53 points and limited the visiting Carver Yellowjackets to 24 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now hold a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Community School of Davidson for a 1A/2A Conference A test on Friday, October 18. Corvian Community will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 51-0 league win over Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Carver drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to meet the Pride in a 1A/2A Conference A test on Friday, October 18. The Pride come into the test with a record of 2-5. Pine Lake Prep lost 34-14 in their recent league test against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC)
