The Carver Yellowjackets football team (Winston-Salem, NC), was crushed 42-8 in Friday's league bout with the host Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC)

With the win, Mountain Island Charter advances its record to 5-4 on the season. The Raptors host Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Cardinals in a 1A/2A Conference A bout on Friday, November 1. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Corvian Community won 48-14 in their recent league bout against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC)
