The Carver Yellowjackets football team (Winston-Salem, NC), dropped 29-12 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC)

With the win, Christ the King advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Crusaders host Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Cardinals in a 1A/2A Conference A bout on Friday, September 27. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Corvian Community won 61-12 in their recent league bout against Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Yellowjackets now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop McGuinness for a 1A/2A Conference A bout on Friday, September 27.
