Forge Christian can attribute much of their success to Levi Clark, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards, and Owen Hovis, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 19 points. That's the most points Clark has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakan Sederwall, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points.

Meanwhile, The Vanguard School came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Stallions 70-67.
Forge Christian's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for The Vanguard School, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
