The Everett Warriors had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Meyersdale with a sharp 53-33 victory.
Everett was led to victory by Jade Colledge and Cloe Price. Colledge scored 13 points along with three steals, while Price scored 19 points along with six rebounds. The game was Price's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Bowser, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Everett pushed their record up to 4-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Meyersdale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Everett won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fannett Metal at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st. Fannett Metal will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 505th, while Everett is ranked 231st). Meyersdale will be home for the holidays to greet Rockwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
