Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clairemont). They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Ramona Bulldogs 27-25. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chieftains.

Clairemont's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Ramona, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Clairemont and Castle Park will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Castle Park has lost three straight at home , while Clairemont has lost nine on the road (dating back to last season). Ramona will take on Southwest EC in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ramona is facing Southwest EC at the right time seeing as Southwest EC is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
