Pine Creek's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Doherty Spartans with a sharp 18-0 victory. Considering the Eagles have won 14 games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kyleigh Croyle made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs.
