Wayne waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Everything went their way against the Davis County Mustangs as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Falcons have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Wayne's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2. As for Davis County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 17-8 record.

Looking ahead, Wayne will host Clarke at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Davis County, they will venture away from home to challenge Mediapolis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
