Northside waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Harris County Tigers a 1-0 shutout. The one-run effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Not much got past Wetherly Ridley, who gave up just five hits to keep Harris County off the board. Ridley has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.
