Sauk Rapids-Rice lost to St. Cloud Tech the last time the two teams met, but they didn't allow St. Cloud Tech the same satisfaction this time around. Everything went Sauk Rapids-Rice's way against St. Cloud Tech on Friday as they made off with a 34-6 win. With Sauk Rapids-Rice ahead 27-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.
The victory bumped Sauk Rapids-Rice's record up to 5-1. With their first loss of the season, St. Cloud Tech fell to 7-1.
Next week Sauk Rapids-Rice take on Alexandria at 7:00 PM. Alexandria took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Sauk Rapids-Rice's good fortune. As for St. Cloud Tech, they will face off against Princeton. Princeton are limping into the game on a six-game losing streak.
