If Monache was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Corcoran last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Marauders took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden West Trailblazers on Tuesday. The Marauders' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Cooper Baxter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Ethan Giannetto was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Monache's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Golden West, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-8 record.

While Monache had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
