The Bedford Bisons lost against the Bishop Carroll Huskies back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Bedford took a 50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Carroll. Bedford has struggled against Bishop Carroll recently, as their game on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Bedford's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Shannon Letrent, who scored 12 points, and Rebekah Costal who scored ten points. Letrent scored a full 32.4% of Bedford's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Mcdevitt, who scored five points.
Bedford now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Bishop Carroll, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Bedford will head out on the road to face off against Chestnut Ridge at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Chestnut Ridge will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Bishop Carroll will be home for the holidays to greet Bishop McCort at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop McCort is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
