Peterson has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's  played.  Sammy Schuler was another key contributor,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 13 points and nine  rebounds.
 Whitney is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record  this season. As for Piedmont, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 20-8.
 Whitney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game, a  73-67  loss vs. McClatchy on the 29th. Piedmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
