Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 30th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They took  a  47-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hamilton Braves. One positive for the Yellowjackets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
 Williams' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Evelyn Guevara, who  posted ten  points. The dominant performance gave  Guevara a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was  Lupita Zuniga, who  had nine  points.
 Hamilton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Esme Castillo led the charge by  putting up 14 points.  Isabel Rivera was another key player,  posting six  points.
Williams' loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Hamilton, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 6-18.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williams will welcome Quincy  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Portola  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
