Given Indian Springs' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 471st, while Perris is ranked 1056th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
The victory got San Bernardino back to even at 4-4. As for Indian Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
