The Montgomery Red Raiders will be home for the holidays to greet the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Wednesday, Montgomery was beaten by South Williamsport 52-24. Montgomery has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Neumann Regional Academy struggled with assists on Thursday (Hughesville had 19 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Neumann Regional Academy had to suffer through a rough 75-16 loss at the hands of Hughesville. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Neumann Regional Academy in their matchups with Hughesville: they've now lost eight in a row.
Lizzie weller was Neumann Regional Academy's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Kallee Johnson held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Montgomery now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they now also have a losing record at 2-3.
Montgomery was taken down by Neumann Regional Academy 60-26 in their previous meeting back in February. Thankfully for Montgomery, Sheiana Tutler (who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 19 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
